The NT950 Validator Network/Cabling
Certifier measures until Cat 6 and presents fast and clear SPEED and
PERFORMANCE to 1 gigabit. This can be done in 4 steps.
First a map of building which all connections are made. The
NT950 measures all the connections and the measurement data will
be stored using a flash card of the unit. And all data will be
read on the computer using the software. These are the wiring
order, split pairs, open ends, shorts and miswires, length
and distance to short circuits and open ends, NEXT, return loss,
attenuation, channel response,
Signal to Noise Ratio, PSACR, skew and
BERT-test. The Plan-Umtm software ties together all the
different cable criteria that are found in complex
voice/data/video installations and presents concise information
in printed reports, while storing data for future use.
This instrument measure the voltage by PoE, for example by VoIP
telephones.
The NT950 test interconnect specifications by TIA 568 and 570
wirings. The NT950 has a graphical
screen so that all measurements are clear to read and easy to
use. |
