The NT1150 Validator Network/Cabling
Certifier includes an integrated optical
power meter that measures optical power at
850/1300/1310/1490/1550 nm on multimode or single-mode fiber. The
NT1150 measures until Cat 6 and presents fast and clear
SPEED and
PERFORMANCE to 1 Gigabit. This can be done in 4 steps.
First a map of building which all connections are made. The
NT1150 measures all the connections and the measurement data will
be stored on internal memory or using a USB stick of the unit. And all data will be
read on the computer using the software. These are the wiring
order, split pairs, open ends, shorts and miswires, length
and distance to short circuits and open ends, NEXT, return loss,
attenuation, channel response,
Signal to Noise Ratio, PSACR, skew and
BERT-test.
The Plan-Umtm software ties together all the
different cable criteria that are found in complex
voice/data/video installations and presents concise information
in printed reports, while storing data for future use.
The NT1150 test interconnect specifications by TIA 568 and 570
wirings. The NT1150 has a graphical
screen so that all measurements are clear to read and easy to
use. |
